  • We tried this café for brunch. It has a pleasant ambiance, perfect for a relaxing meal on Bowen Island. There was both indoor and outdoor seating, we chose the outdoor, of course. Service was friendly and prompt. We enjoyed everything we ordered: tomato soup with grilled cheese, almond croissant, strawberry matcha, a handcrafted beer, and one of the house-made sandwiches. We paid $66 for two, including tip. Although it was busy when we arrived, the food was served on time. The washrooms were also well-kept. Highly recommended. We'll definitely be back.

  • I absolutely love this place. I love the location, the view, the interior and decor, the service and the food is amazing. We had the eggs Benny on the weekend with a cookies and cream cheese pastry and a pistachio donut and all were so amazing we had to come back another day for breakfast. They have the best coffees on Bowen island. I would highly recommend and if I ever come back to Bowen I will definitely be getting my breakfast fills here.

  • Came about half hour before they closed and could only get sandwiches and soup. Pretty decent sandwiches and would recommend the God Father. The Salmon Bagel was alright but we liked the other sandwich more. The mushroom soup was ok, not the best we had but serviceable.

  • Super busy place in Sunday noon. We managed to sit by the window to have some nice view while waiting for our food. I got the last cinnamon bun and really loved it even though most of them were gobbled up by my kids. Chicken fingers are very moist and tasty. I enjoyed my chicken & barley soup but not as much with the grilled cheese. My husband thought his Thai chicken sandwich was mediocre. I will be back for their pastry especially the cinnamon bun! The vibes in the store were amazing. Thanks for having a changing table in the washroom even though it’s so high up that I had some struggles getting my toddler to change (I’m 5’4”). It’s such a kind gesture to families who have little kids. I’m super grateful.

  • View and vibes are nice. Food is mid. I really didn’t enjoy the mango matcha. There wasn’t much of a matcha taste and the mango chunks were overpowering. It would have been better if it was a mango puree. The salmon bagel was alright but would taste a lot of better if I didn’t ask for it to be warmed up. If I was the come back, I wouldn’t get the same items but try different ones next time.

  • The Cafe offers a stunning view of the ocean and the surrounding dense Greenery of Bowen Island. Amazing soup! As a soup girl I can vouche for the Poblano chicken chowder! 12/10! Personally I thought Poblano chicken chowder was also a very unique flavor of soup in comparison to the usual chicken noodle/ split pea/ clam chowder/ Thai chicken type soups that cafes typically have to offer. It came with a slice of roasted vegetable & feta focassia which was equally as delicious! The bread made for great dipping! The interior is very home-y feeling, with beautiful couches, a long family style table and window seating available. The staff was friendly and efficient! The soup & foccasia bread was $13 and change - which I found to be very reasonable for the obvious quality of the food! It did get quite busy around 3:30 which made it feel quite crowded, but we just took it as a sign that its a popular place and we were lucky we got there when we did!
